The Lake County Food Pantry is asking for help in fulfilling Christmas gift requests for this year’s Angel Tree program.  Earlier this week, the Lake County Food Pantry reported that they had close to 200 angels left to be picked up from one of the three Angel Trees in Madison.  The trees are located at Gary’s Bakery, Montgomery’s, and the Madison Public Library.

There are 253 Lake County children included in this year’s Angel Tree program, which means 506 total angels to be adopted.  Each child receives one toy and one clothing gift through the program.

Gifts purchased for angels from the Angel Tree will need to be wrapped and returned to the Lake County Food Pantry at the Madison City Armory December 5th through the 9th, but not on Sunday, December 6th.  Gifts will be collected from 11:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. on those days.

The Food Pantry is providing the gifts and a box of food to nearly 150 families and the children on December 12th. Â
