Trojans Volleyball Gets Fourth Straight Home Win

The Dakota State volleyball team grabbed their fourth straight home win last night, sweeping Briar Cliff in three sets. 

The Trojans won the sets by scores of 25-20 and 25-21 before closing it out in the final set, with a score of 25-11. 

Sydney Schell ended the night with 20 kills and 13 digs for DSU. Trojans VonnaGail Schlechter added a match high 17 digs. Maddi Langerock had a double double on the night, with 18 assists and 10 digs.

Madalyn Groft nearly recorded a triple double for the third time, but fell one kill short (9 kills, 19 set assists, 11 digs).

The win gave the Trojans not just their fourth straight win, but also their fifth win the last six matches. They will end their five-match homestand going 4-1.

DSU will return to the courts tonight when they travel to Dakota Weselyan to start their six match road trip.
