Trojans Gearing Up for NAIA Championships

Nine Dakota State athletes will compete in the 2023 NAIA Men’s and Women’s Track and Field Championships later on this week.

The nine athletes for DSU include Treshawn Roberts (Decathlon), Conner Tordsen (Hammer Throw, Discus, Shot Put), Jacob Joachim (Hammer Throw), Fane Sauvakacolo (100m Hurdles), Traia Hubbard (Shot Put, Discus Throw), Cody Farland (800m Run, 4x800m Relay), Evan Slominski (4x800m Relay), Curtis Johnson (4x800m Relay), and Joshua Krull (4x800m Relay).

Daniel Green will also be going as a 4x800m Relay alternate.

The 71st annual Men’s and 42nd annual Women’s national meets take place in Marion, Indiana, with the NAIA opening ceremonies being held on Wednesday at 1:30pm.
