Dakota State Men’s Basketball continued their strong play over the weekend, defeating Presentation on Saturday and Mayville State on Sunday, with both games on the road. In both games, DSU used a strong second half to pick up the victories. Saturday’s score versus the Saints was 80-71 and on Sunday at Mayville, 72-60. Giarges Daow and Lamarr Wood made their season debuts versus Presentation, Daow had a game-high 28 points and Wood finished with 13.

Sunday’s win at Mayville State vaulted the Trojans into a tie with the Comets atop the NSAA standings. Josh McGreal had 18 points to lead Dakota State, who limited Mayville State to 35% shooting in the game. It was the fourth straight win, as DSU improved to 6-8 overall and 4-1 in conference. Trojans return to action this weekend, at Viterbo and Waldorf.
