Trojan Cross Country Excels At NAIA Pre-Nationals Meet

Dakota State Cross Country competed on Saturday at the Seminole Valley Stampede/NAIA Pre-Nationals meet in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. The Women placed 17th as a team and the Men 8th place. Jacia Christiansen was the top North Star Athletic Association conference runner in the 5K race, clocking a time of 20 minutes, 7.40 seconds for the Trojans. Jada Anderson added a 76th-place finish, Juliette Rios followed up with a 90th-place finish.

Alex Derr paced the Trojans as the top North Star Athletic Association conference runner in the race, registering a time of 26 minutes, 6.72 seconds. Matthew Dunn followed up with a 44th place finish, Evan Slominski was 70th. Dakota State Cross Country will return to racing on Saturday, October 24th at the Mount Marty invite.
