NSAA Splits Volleyball Season – Once Thru In The Fall, Once In The Spring

The North Star Athletic Association Board of Directors announced on Thursday that league volleyball teams will operate a split season, playing once through in the fall and then the second time through in the spring. This means that the conference tournament will now be played in the spring (early April). DSU’s Volleyball season begins this weekend at the Kansas Wesleyan Tournament, with four games over two days. They will then end their fall portion of the season on October 28th, resuming play on March 13th of 2021. 

The change in scheduling coincides with the NAIA moving Fall Sports National Championships/Tournaments to the spring.
