Bellevue rallied back from a 2-1 set deficit and held Dakota State to just eight kills combined in the final two sets, picking up a 3-2 NSAA volleyball conference thriller at DSU Fieldhouse Wednesday evening.  The Bruins ended the Lady T’s five-match winning streak in the series meetings. Set scores were: 25-18, 23-25, 23-25, 25-12 and 15-7.  It was the fifth time in the last six meetings that the two teams went to the fifth and deciding set.

Hannah Viet and Riley Grandpre each had 11 kills, Maddie Polzin chipped in with 10 total. Nichole Sarringar had a double-double of 16 assists and 15 digs. A low hitting percentage was a deciding factor in the loss. DSU will continue its home stand this weekend, matches on Friday and Saturday versus Valley City State and Dickinson State respectively.
