Karwacki Wins Back-to-Back Player of the Week Awards

This week the NSAA awarded Noah Karwacki, a sophomore at DSU, the “NSAA Football Special Teams Player of the Week”. The award has been given to Karwacki for his second week in a row. 

In the past week Karwacki has scored all of the points for DSU while they played and defeated Iowa Wesleyan. He led his team to victory with his 4-of-4 field goals. Karwacki’s field goals were from 24, 24, 20, and 49 yards. His 49 yard field goal tied his season long.

These field goals made in the game tied for the school’s single-game record for field goals that dates back to 1993. 

Karwacki also had 6 punts for 225 yards, leaving him with an average of 42.5 yards per punt. His longest punt was 58 yards and he had 3 punts hit the opponents 20-yard line.
