Field Conditions Force Trojans to Hit the Road

Both Dakota State baseball and softball teams continue to be impacted by the recent weather, with their games for this weekend being moved to other locations due to unplayable field conditions.

The Trojans baseball team was originally scheduled to host Viterbo this weekend for a four-game NSAA series, but instead will travel to Viterbo in La Crosse, Wisconsin. Tomorrow’s doubleheader will start at 1pm, while Saturday’s will begin at 12pm.

DSU’s softball team was also supposed to be at home this weekend, but they too will be on the road when they play Presentation. The Trojans games this weekend will be played at Riverside Park in Yankton, SD with games beginning tomorrow afternoon at 2pm.

They will then look to wrap up the series with another doubleheader on Saturday, beginning at 12pm.Â
