Sophomore Michelle Evdos is set to be named to the NAIA All-America Honorable Mention Softball team. This is Dakota State’s first-ever NAIA All-America Honorable Mention in program history.
Evdos lead the North Star Athletic Association (NSAA) in batting average with a .457 during the 2023 season. She also produced eight home runs which was tied for third in the league. Evdos broke DSU’s record of total bases this season with 116. The previous record was held by Jeny Garst with 114 total bases in 2004.
She played catcher while also bringing in an .829 slugging percentage. She has already been named to the NSAA First Team two times. Evdos tied Nicole Stewart for third most home runs in program history.
The all-time school record in batting average is currently hers after two seasons here. She currently is all over the record book at Dakota State.
