DSU Women’s Basketball Opens NAIA Tournament Against Hope International in Billings, MT
Dakota State women’s basketball will play Hope International in the first game of the 2022 NAIA Championship Tournament in Billings, MT tonight at 6:00pm. The Trojans won the North Star Athletic Association Championship on February 27th in Watertown to earn a spot in this postseason tournament. Head coach David Moe said he was proud of his team for coming together and beating Bellevue a few weeks ago.
The NAIA selection committee chose DSU as the tenth seed for the Duer bracket a week ago. Coach Moe shared his thoughts on being selected as that seed.
The Trojans face seventh-seeded Hope International. Coach Moe said the game is going to come down to defending shots from beyond the arc.
