DSU Women’s Basketball Eliminated From NAIA Tournament Following Loss to Rocky Mountain College

The Dakota State women’s basketball team’s season has come to an end, following an 89-73 loss on Saturday in the second game of the opening round against Rocky Mountain College. The team that hosted the opening round outscored the Trojans 30-16 in the fourth quarter. Jessi Giles scored a team-high 18 points. Shaylee DeBeer scored 16 off the bench and also grabbed six rebounds. The Trojans ended the year with a record of 27-8, tying last year’s record number of wins. DSU scored 83.3 points per game, which is also a Dakota State record.
