The Dakota State Women’s Basketball team got their short two-game swing in Florida off to a great start yesterday, rallying for a 66-60 victory over Webber International. Trailing by as much as 14 points in the contest and by 11 at the end of the third quarter, DSU out scored the host Warriors 23-6 in the fourth quarter. 

Morgan Koepsell had a double-double in the game, 16 points and 10 rebounds, with Ashlyn Macdonald nearly had a triple-double (9 points, 13 rebounds and 6 assists). Dakota State held Webber to 28 percent shooting in the game, including 14 percent in the fourth quarter. 

DSU picked up back to back victories for the second time this season (4-9 overall) and will be back in action today, wrapping up their Florida trip with a game versus Warner University. Tip is slated for noon central.
