After picking up a win on Monday afternoon, against Webber International in Florida, the DSU Women’s Basketball squad could not keep the momentum going on Tuesday, dropping a game 67-57 at Warner. The Royals used a near seven minute scoreless stretch at the end of the third quarter and into the fourth to take command of the game. DSU led by one point, 50-49, before Warner went on the 12-0 run.

Sidney Fick was the lone player in double digits for Dakota State with 12. Warner won the turnover battle (26-9) and out shot DSU 37 to 31 percent on the contest. Now at 4-10 on the season, Dakota State Women will be back in action on Saturday, at home versus Oglala Lakota in a Men’s/Women’s doubleheader.
