Lady T’s Volleyball got off to a strong start this weekend, picking up three victories at the Kansas Wesleyan Tournament. Saturday, they swept Sterling College 3-0 behind a strong defensive effort. Dakota State then followed that up with a thrilling five set win over McPherson College, winning the fifth set via a 15-12 score.

Sunday’s action saw the Lady T’s extended their winning streak to three games, as they defeated the hosts three sets to one. DSU dropped the first set to Kansas Wesleyan before rattling off three straight. In the final match of the weekend for Dakota State, they were unable to keep up with Friends University in a 3-1 setback.

With some adjustments to the schedule, DSU will be back in action a week from this Wednesday. The NSAA has elected to play once thru the conference schedule this fall before resuming the season in the spring, leading up to the conference tournament and National Tournament that is scheduled for late April into early May.
