DSU Baseball Home Openers Pushed Back

The Dakota State University Trojan baseball team was set to kick off their five-game home stand at Flynn Field in downtown Madison on Friday but that has been pushed back to Saturday.  The Trojans open their 28-game North Star Athletic Association schedule Saturday as they will host Valley City State.  The first game of the doubleheader is set for 2 p.m. on Saturday, followed by another doubleheader on Sunday with the first game at 12 p.m.

Dakota State remains home on Tuesday afternoon as they host in-state rival Mount Marty.  The nine-inning contest is set for 4 p.m. at Flynn Field.  Both teams will play a doubleheader in developmental baseball next Thursday at Flynn Field, starting at 5 p.m.

Last weekend, DSU went 2-1 record in the three-game series at Kansas Christian their overall record on the season is 7-7.
