Dakota State Athletics announced on Tuesday that this weekend’s Women’s Basketball games at Mayville State and Presentation have been postponed, as well as next Monday’s match-up versus Clarke (Iowa). At this time, no makeup dates have been announced. DSU Men are still scheduled for their two NSAA conference games this weekend.

Also on Tuesday, the NSAA announced weekly awards for Indoor Track & Field. Dakota State competed this past weekend at the Doane invite and ended up sweeping all four weekly awards. Tyler Mouton was named the field athlete-of-the-week. He finished fourth in the shot put and seventh in the weight throw. Alex Derr was the track athlete-of-the-week for his first place finish in the 800 and helped the 4 X 400 team take second. On the Women’s side: Lahna Matucha placed second in the high jump, earning field athlete-of-the-week. Jacia Christansen captured the title in the 3,000 meter run, a personal best, which helped her earn track athlete-of-the-week for the Women. DSU Track & Field travel to Yankton on Friday for the Mount Marty Opener.
