The 2020 NAIA Indoor National Meet got underway yesterday at the Sanford Jackrabbit Sports Complex in Brookings. Dakota State had a strong showing on Day One. Treshawn Roberts, competing in the Heptathlon, finished the day with a fifth place standing. He scored 2,816 points through four events. The Heptathlon will wrap up today. Meanwhile, distance runners Max Cruse and Braden Curnow, making their second straight appearance in the 5,000-meter run at the National Meet, both advanced to the finals on Saturday. Cruse picked up a second place finish in the first heat and Curnow was second in the second heat. 

Along with Roberts in the Heptathlon, Joshua Snook will be in competition today in the 200-meter dash.
