Dakota State Football Wins Last Home Game of 2021 and Ends Home Record at 4-1

A slow start didn’t stop Dakota State football from grabbing another home victory, 53-15, against Iowa Wesleyan. Down 12-0, the Trojans ended the 1st half up 25-15 after a Jay Skogerboe 81-yard kickoff return touchdown, a Brenner Furlong rushing touchdown, and a receiving touchdown from Dajshon Keel. DSU scored four more times before the game ended with two pick-sixes and two rushing touchdowns. Cooper McDermott found his way around the field with seven receptions and 130 yards. No game this weekend for Dakota State and will take on Valley City State on November 6.
