Dakota State Basketball Hosts Presentation/Koepsell Earns POTW

Dakota State Basketball welcomes in the Saints of Presentation College to the Fieldhouse this evening as the two sides make-up games that were originally scheduled for Saturday, January 18th. Poor travel conditions the other weekend forced the postponement of the originally scheduled meeting. The DSU Women come into tonight’s game having won three straight games, are 9-12 on the season and 3-3 in NSAA play. Presentation comes in still looking for their first conference win of the season and are 1-16 overall. 

Dakota State Men will look to snap a three game losing streak this evening, while Presentation Men have lost 10 straight. Tip-off for the Women is at 5:40pm and the Men’s game to follow, action on FM103 and streaming at amazingmadison.com

Sophomore Morgan Koepsell has been named the Women’s NSAA Player-Of-The-Week for her efforts. Koepsell posted double digit scoring in all three games last week, helping DSU pick up wins in each game. She average 19.3 points per game, 7.7 rebounds and 3.3 blocks. Morgan also had key baskets in overtime in the win versus Viterbo from Saturday, including the game winning bucket.
