Dakota State Baseball Powers For Only Four Hits in 9-1 Defeat to Mount Marty

Mason Macaluso drove in the only run for the Trojans as DSU lost to Mount Marty 9-1 last night.
DSU totaled only four hits in the dominating performance from the Lancers. Cole Westerlund gave up five hits and one earned run, and struck out six. He took the second loss of this season, giving him a 2-2 record for 2022.
Dakota State is 22-9 on the year. Next up is two doubleheaders against Viterbo in La Crosse, WI this Friday and Saturday.
