Dell Rapids star Austin Henry to play for Oklahoma

Former Dell Rapids star pitcher Austin Henry is heading to the Big 12. Henry announced Thursday that he is transferring to play baseball for the Oklahoma Sooners. The right handed pitcher spent his freshman year with Wichita State, as a red shirt while he rehabbed from Tommy John surgery. He led Dell Rapids to a Class B State Baseball title in 2021, and Renner to a Legion title the same year.

Henry is playing for the Dell Rapids Mudcats Amateur team this summer. The Mudcats will take on Dell Rapids PBR tonight at 8pm, on Jammin’ Country 103.
