A late rally propelled the Trojans of West Central to a victory on Tuesday night over Madison, 58-49 in boys basketball. The Bulldogs held a slight advantage in the fourth quarter before the visitors took over, as West Central finished the game on a 17-2 run. After trailing by six at halftime, the Bulldogs came out hot in the third quarter to capture the lead, but could not maintain that success in the fourth.

A trio of players scored nine points for Madison, who fell to 7-6 on the season and did not hit a three in the contest. Bulldogs will be back in action on Friday, as they will host McCook Central/Montrose in regional action.
