West Central Basketball Continues Great Season With Boys and Girls Wins; Area Scores from 2/1/22

In Colton, West Central earned two wins against Tri-Valley last night on FM103.

The West Central girls team drained 13 three-pointers in a 79-47 win. Rylee Haldeman led the way for the Trojans, scoring 29. Addy Kramer hit almost half the total threes for West Central as she knocked down six and scored 23. Lauren Grinde scored 15 for the Mustangs.

For the boys side, a balanced attack for the Trojans led the team to a 67-33 win. Braden Herr scored 13 and grabbed 12 rebounds. Jack Linneman dropped 11 in the win. Lance Dewitte put up seven points for Tri-Valley.

West Central girls will travel to Madison for a Friday matchup, the boys team will play Tea Area on Thursday. Tri-Valley has a doubleheader against Dell Rapids, also on Thursday.
