West Central 14U Played Four Games This Weekend

West Central earned four victories this weekend.

In game one, West Central allowed only one in a 5-1 victory against Wagner 14U. Caden Alfson had two hits and two runs driven in. West Central made their way around the basepaths, totaling eight stolen bases. Anthony Lanham pitched six no-hit innings, allowing one run and striking out eight. 

Against Tri-Valley Maroon 14U in game two, West Central collected 10 hits in a 15-6 win. Alfson knocked in two more runs, and Keaton Vessells had two hits and an RBI. Vessells and Landen Holewa both scored three times. On the mound, Vessells pitched five innings, allowing only one hit and struck out 10 batters.

Jack Sebert pitched five innings in a complete game shutout win for West Central in game one on Sunday. They beat Lennox 10-0. Holewa scored another three times and drove in three runs. Alfson and Vessells each had a hit and two RBIs.

It took only six innings for West Central 14U to beat Madison Gold 14U in game two on Sunday. Carson Wolf and Caleb Hodges hit in the only runs for Madison in West Central’s 12-2 win. Cain Grocott had a hit and two RBIs in the win.
