State Wrestling Tournament Wraps Up Over Weekend
The 2021 SDHSAA State Wrestling Tournament wrapped up on Saturday in Rapid City. The Madison Bulldogs had three wrestlers place in their respective weight classes in Class A: Caleb Hodges was seventh at 106, Truman Stoller sixth at 120 and Sam Olson was seventh at 138.Â
Other area teams included McCook Central/Montrose with four placement winners in Class B: Jackson Remmers was champion at 132 (winning via 9-3 decision), Jacobi Krouse was runner-up at 182, Trystan Taupel placed seventh at 106 and Weston Remmers seventh at 126. And for Howard: Lane Miller was runner-up at 145, John Callies fourth at 152 and Ty Beyer seventh at 160. Congratulations to the wrestlers who competed this past weekend at the State Tournament.
