Madison Tops Howard At DSU Shootout
The Madison Lady Bulldogs erased an early deficit on Saturday and picked up a 60-50 win over the Howard Lady Tigers at the DSU Shootout. Howard built a nine point lead in the first before Madison rallied and the two sides went back and forth until a 23-15 fourth quarter scoring output boosted the Lady Bulldogs. Audrey Nelson scored a game high 21 points for Madison and Kate Connor had 20 points and 11 rebounds for Howard.Â
The Lady Tigers were just 2 of 15 from beyond the arc, while Madison was 8 of 22. The Lady Bulldogs are back in action this evening, as they will host Beresford. You can catch the action on AM1390. Howard will host Hanson on Tuesday.
