Lee and Luze Win State Titles for Hawks at Girls Class B Meet

Daniela Lee and Reese Luze each won two individual state titles for the Girls Class B State Champion Colman-Egan Hawks at the SDHSAA Class B State Track and Field meet. 

Lee was the state champion in both the 100m Dash and the 200m Dash, with her times of 

12.16 and 26.26, respectively. 

She was also on two state winning relays, as the Hawks 4x100m Relay team of Lanie Mousel, Abby Rhode, Elaina Rhode, and Lee won with a time of 51.98. The Hawks also won the 4x200m Relay with the team of Lanie Mousel, Josie Mousel, Elaina Rhode, and Lee.

Luze picked up two state titles after winning the 400m Dash and the 800m Run. She clocked state winning times of 58.74 in the 400m and 2:15.63 in the 800m.

Josie Mousel also had a top five finish in the 200m Dash, placing fourth with a time of 27.01.

For the Colman-Egan boys, Christopher Lee had a third place finish in the 100m Dash, clocking a time of 10.96. Lee also placed just outside the top five in the 200m Dash, with a sixth place time of 23.88.

Jack Mousel was the runner-up in the High Jump, with a 6’2 leap.

Lee, along with Ben Zwart, Jack Mousel, and Jase Mousel, placed fifth in the 4x200m Relay (1:33.44). The 4x100m Relay team of Jase Mousel, Ben Zwart, Jack Mousel, and Christopher Lee also finished fifth (45.13). 

The Colman-Egan Girls team won the Class B State title with 88 points. The boys team finished in the Top Ten, scoring 31 points to place eighth.
