LCC names Boys All Conference Selections

The Lake Central Conference has released their All Conference Boys Basketball selections.  Sioux Valley, who finished first in the conference at 6-0, had 3 All Conference selections.  Kelton Vincent, Hayden Ruesink and Oliver Vincent.  Sioux Valley will be heading to the State A Boys basketball tournament on Thursday in Sioux Falls at the #3 seed.  Their 1st game will be Thursday night at 7:30 as they take on the 6th seeded Chamberlain.

DeSmet also had 3 selections on the Lake Central All Conference Boys team.  They were Cody Cavanaugh, Kalen Garry & Rett Osthus.  DeSmet also will be making a State Tournament appearance as the #1 seed in the State B Tournament.  They will play the opening game on noon on  Thursday against #8 seed Lower Brule.

Flandreau, who finished third in the Lake Central conference with a record of 4-2 had 2 All Conference selections; Tash Lunday and Chase LeBrun.

Clark-Willow Lake and  Hamlin both had 2 selections and Castlewood and Deuel each had one selection named to the Lake Central Boys Basketball All Conference.
