Howard Girls Basketball Gets First Win in First Game of New Season

Once tied at 41 in the fourth quarter, the Howard girls basketball team used their size to put home a 55-47 win over Arlington. Kate Connor led the Tigers with 14 points in the win. Rylee Rudebusch had 11 points, with seven coming in the last quarter of play. Abby Aslesen poured in 11 points and controlled the glass, grabbing 17 rebounds. The Cardinals’ Hadley Carlson had a team-high 14 points. Arlington will try to rebound against Colman-Egan on Friday. Howard hosts Dell Rapids St. Mary at the end of the week.
