Garretson, Sioux Valley and Beresford Win Opening Round of BEC Girls Basketball Tournament

The Garretson girls outscored Chester by 12 points in the 4th quarter last night, for a 75-60 win in the opening round of the Big East Conference Girls Basketball Tournament. Emery Larson scored 21 points for Chester Area in the loss, and Emmerson Eppard added 18 points and 10 rebounds. 

Sioux Valley’s Isabelle Bloker had 19 points on Thursday, and led Sioux Valley to a 65-46 win over Baltic in the BEC Tournament. The other opening round winners were Garretson and Beresford.
