Four Teams Remain in SDHSBA Class B Tournament

Four teams are left in the South Dakota High School Baseball Association Class B Tournament after four games yesterday at Sioux Falls Stadium. Vermillion scored a run late to beat Howard 3-2. West Central scored three runs in the seventh and held onto the 6-5 win over Platte/Geddes/Dakota Christian/White Lake. Dakota Valley scored the only two runs of the game in the fifth as they beat Redfield 2-0. Dell Rapids surged in the first two innings, scoring nine of their ten runs, and beating Gregory County 10-3. The tournament continues today at Sioux Falls Stadium with Vermillion and West Central at 12 p.m. and Dakota Valley and Dell Rapids at 2 p.m. The winners of each game will play for the Class B State Championship at 5 p.m.
