Dell Rapids Beat Madison and Volga to advance in the SDVFW 14U Class A Region Two Tournament.
Lincoln Fersdahl had four hits and five RBIs in the Dell Rapids 12-2 win over Madison. Quinn Carr went two-for-two, drawing two walks, two RBIs, and scoring three times. Four Dell Rapids pitchers combine for the 10-run victory.
In game two, Dell Rapids collected 16 hits in the 20-4 win against Volga. Fersdahl had another five runs driven in. Cole Ruesink went five-for-five with three doubles and hit in two and Kenny Swanson had a pair of hits with three RBIs. Tad Tjaden pitched five innings, striking out eight.
Dell Rapids plays tonight at 4:00 p.m.
