Chester Track and Field Team participated in the Baltic Invitational Tuesday

The Chester Track and Field Team participated in the Baltic Invitational on Tuesday. At the meet, 23 school records were broken and 2 new meet records were set. For the girls, Emery Larson finished the 200 meter dash in 2nd and the 400 meter dash in 3rd. Emmerson Eppard won the 1600 meter run with a time of 5:36.6. Addison Bates added a 2nd place finish in high jump and Lexi Siemonsma earned 1st place in shot put. 

For the boys, Jovi Wolf and Alex Van Egdom both earned first place finishes, 100 meter for Wolf and 200 meter for VanEgdom. Ryan Benson placed first for both 110 meter hurdles and 300 meter hurdles, which was a meet record of 40.7 seconds. Van Egdom, Benson, Wolf, and Stratton Eppard also broke the meet record for the 4 x 200 meter relay (1:33.7). Wolf also placed first in the long jump and Eppard earned first place in discus.
