9AA Football Playoffs Start This Week

High school football playoffs are here, with the 9AA state playoffs beginning this week on Thursday, October 17th with eight games scheduled for round one. 

All the round one games will be played Thursday night, starting with number one seed Wall facing 16th ranked Stanley County. Two-seed Elkton-Lake Benton faces off against 15th ranked Kimball/White Lake.

The final undefeated team in 9AA, the three-seed Howard Tigers, will host 14th ranked Britton-Hecla. That game can be heard on FM 103.1 Jammin’ Country or at AmazingMadison.com at 6pm Thursday night.

There will be four rounds in the playoffs, with round two next Thursday, October 27th. The semi-finals will then be played on November 4th before the 9AA State Championship game on November 11th in the DakotaDome at 10:30am.Â
