Tennie Larson

Tennie B Larson, 49 of Arlington, SD died Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls.

He was born on November 5, 1972 to Loren and Kathleen Larson.    He attended grade school in Watertown and graduated from high school in Oklahoma City.  He attended Lake Area Technical College for mechanic technician.  Tennie worked full time at Sturdevant’s auto parts in Brookings for nine years until health issues.  He currently was working part time at the Handi Mart in Arlington, SD

He married Monica Begalka on June 1, 2013 they later divorced but remained good friends,  they  had two daughters, Kathyann and Kassilynn Larson. Tennie moved across the road to be closer to his two little girls.  The girls were ecstatic because they could run over and hangout with their daddy.

The bond Tennie had with his girls was so unbreakable.  Tennie loved to spend time with his girls and loved to take them for rides on his gold wing.  Tennie was very proud he was teaching the girls how to cook.

Tennie is survived by his two daughters, Kathyann (9) and Kassilynn (8) and little dog Chester, sister, Julia (Dale) step-sisters Lori (Mark) and Corine  (Mike) , step-daughter, Katrina, extended family, Tonya (Mike), Keyanna (Shayn) Baby Iris, Brayden (Tori), Rusty (Niki) Landen, Haven (Louis), Al and Bev Begalka and many nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends Terri and Calvin.

He is preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins and many close friends.

Services for Tennie Larson will held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, January 5, 2022 at the First Assembly of God Church in Brookings, SD, visitation will be at 4-7 pm on Tuesday, January 4, 2022 at the First Assembly of God Church in Brookings.

The Johnson-Henry Funeral Home of Arlington is assisting the family with arrangements.
