Remington was born December 16, 1998 at Brookings, SD to Raymond and Jenny (Jennifer) Bickett.

Remington was a little bundle of Joy with lots of wild hair. Remington James Bickett, age 23, of Arlington passed away Sunday, September 4th, 2022.

He attended Arlington School District through his 12years of education. Through Elementary and Junior high Remington participated in baseball, basketball, and football. As he got into high school he preferred to work over being in sports.

Many know him from his time as a lifeguard at the Arlington Swimming Pool. Where he loved to interact with all the kids. Many who still loved to reminisce with him many years later after he moved on from being a lifeguard. Remington’s kind disposition and generous heart attracted everyone he met. He could always bring a smile to anyone he talked to.  He was often known for dropping anything to help anyone if he could. It always amazed me how many people would come start a conversa4ion with him. No matter where we went, he knew someone, and always greeted them with a smile.

After high School Remington went to work at 3M in Brookings, but most recently had been working for a small construction company. Remington loved to figure out how things worked, becoming a hard worker

In Remington’s free time he was known to often be riding motorcycle, helping his grandpa, driving around in his car, hanging out with friends, fishing, camping and playing video games. He was always helping someone or just on the move.

Remington was most known for his big smile, his easy laughter, and his kind sweet gentle soul.
