Alisha Bormann

Alisha Bormann, 31, of Salem passed away on Wednesday, November 23, 2022 at Dougherty Hospice in Sioux Falls, SD. A prayer service will be held at 7 pm on Tuesday, November 29 with visitation one hour prior at Kinzley Funeral Home in Salem.

Alisha Sue Bormann was born June 4, 1991 to  Laura Bormann. She was born and raised in Montrose SD. She attended school in Montrose until she transferred to West Central for highschool, then went on to receive her GED in Sioux Falls SD. Alisha was interested in writing poetry, listening to her music, and loved spending time with her family and friends. She was very strong willed and fought a long hard battle throughout her life,  with her sassy attitude and good sense of humor.

Ali is survived by: her children, Jazilyn and Jayshawn Smith; her mother, Laura Bormann; her grandmother, Nita Selleck; her sister, Brandi Bormann; and her nieces, Avianna and Briella White all of Salem. She was preceded in death by her grandpa, Loren Bormann, Russ Andresen, Butch Selleck, her uncle, Buddy, aunt Jan, and nephew Lance Alan.
