Area Students Competing this Weekend at the State Oral Interp Festinal

Several area high school students will compete this weekend in the 114th annual state Oral Interpretation Festival, going on Friday and Saturday at Harrisburg High School. 

There are three Madison High School students competing in different categories in the Class A state festival: Calvin Martin in Serious Reading, Olivia Bonner in Oratory, as well as Martin and Spencer Reverts in Duet.  

In Class B, Emily Williams of Colman-Egan will compete in Poetry. Cora Boysen of Chester Area will compete in the Humorous Reading category and also as part of Chester’s Readers Theater group that also includes Lauren Roberts, Ella Brown, Brooklyn Holman.  Chester Area also has Ainsley Breu & Ben Dougan competing in Duet, Ivy Moyer in Oratory, and Lauren Roberts in Serious.
