Upcoming Lake Herman Events

A number of events are going on this week at Lake Herman State Park. Going on this week is from  July 10 – 16, 2023  and starting at 8:00 AM is the Storybook hike starting at the Lake Herman Abbott Trail where you can take a self guided walk through the Abbott Trail to be able to read a story on the lakeside.

On Friday July 14th from 7:30 PM – 8:30 PM CST they will have Hatchet Throwing at the Lake Herman Luce Cabin where you can have some fun while getting some target practice. All children need to be accompanied by an adult. They will also be hosting a movie night with free popcorn at 9:15 PM – 10:45 PM CST that night located at the Lake Herman Amphitheatre.

And lastly they will have a Learning Lichen event on Saturday July 15, 2023 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM CST located at the  Lake Herman Lower Campground Playground and Learn all about how lichens are everywhere.
