One more COVID-19 death was reported in South Dakota Tuesday, bringing the state’s total number of virus-related deaths to 136.  The state Department of Health also reported 59 new positive COVID-19 cases statewide, bringing the state’s total number of positive cases to 9079.  Of those, 935 are active cases and 42 people are currently hospitalized.

Lake County remains at 84 total positive cases, with no new cases reported by the state Tuesday.  The state reported four additional recovered cases for the county, so with the two deaths that have also been reported, the number of active cases in Lake County as of Tuesday is fifteen.  

There have been 884 negative tests reported for Lake County.
