The state reports another large jump in new positive COVID-19 cases Thursday.  The state Department of Health reports 334 new positive cases, and the number of active cases in the state has now surpassed three-thousand.  No new deaths are being reported Thursday and there are currently 76 people hospitalized.

Lake County had no new positive cases reported Thursday, but did have one new recovered case.  The county’s totals include 118 positive cases, with 102 recovered, and six deaths.  Lake County currently has ten active cases of COVID-19 as of Thursday.

Brookings County continues to report an increase in positive COVID-19 cases, with now 185 active cases as of Thursday.  McCook County currently has fifteen active cases, Moody County has nine, and Kingsbury County has seven active cases at this time.  Miner County is reporting two active cases as of Thursday.
