Thursday COVID-19 update: No new positive cases in Lake County; 125 reported statewide

The state Department of Health is reporting 125 new COVID-19 cases in the state Thursday.  This puts the overall total at close to ten-thousand-700, with 1269 of them active at this time.  The state is also reporting two more virus-related deaths Thursday, and currently 53 people are hospitalized. 

There were no new positive COVID-19 cases reported in Lake County Thursday, so the number of active cases remains at four.

Elsewhere in the area, Brookings County currently has 23 active coronavirus cases, McCook County has seven, Moody County reports four active cases, and Kingsbury County now has two.
