The state Department of Health reported two more deaths attributed to COVID-19 on Wednesday.  The two are males in their 80’s from Minnehaha County.  This brings the state’s total number of coronavirus related deaths to 13.

Another one-hundred people had recovered from the virus as of Wednesday, and there were 60 new positive cases reported.  The state’s overall total of positive COVID-19 cases is at 2373, with 868 of them active at this time.   There are currently 69 people hospitalized because of COVID-19.

The state is not reporting any changes in case numbers for Lake County.  Currently the county has had four positive COVID-19 cases, with three recovered, and 130 negative tests.

Miner County’s one positive case is now reported as recovered, and Moody County saw more positive cases Wednesday, putting that county’s total at five with one recovered.
