Two more people in South Dakota have died from COVID-19.  The total number of deaths in the state is now at 93, with the latest being residents of Buffalo and Minnehaha counties.  

The state Department of Health also reports 62 new positive COVID-19 cases Wednesday, bringing the state’s overall total to 6826.  Of those, 800 are reported as active cases and 65 people are currently hospitalized. 

Lake County remains at four active cases at this time, with 673 negative tests.  

Moody County’s positive cases increased by one Wednesday, so now has four active cases as well.  Miner County continues to have five active COVID-19 cases, McCook County has three, and Kingsbury County has one active case.  Brookings County has 14 active cases as of Wednesday.
