NWS Tracking Winter Storm Tuesday and Wednesday

The National Weather Service is tracking yet another late winter storm system that is expected to have widespread impacts across South Dakota tomorrow and Wednesday. Like last week’s storm, areas to the North and West of Madison could see major snow accumulations.

Forecaster Mike Connelly says whether it’s rain or snow, the region will see a lot of moisture.

Connelly says the good news is, after this system passes, there are no more winter storms in sight.

Areas along and west of an Aberdeen to Pierre line are in the Blizzard Warnings, Kingsbury and Miner counties are in a Winter Storm Watch.Â
