Lake County reports another thirteen new positive COVID-19 cases Monday, along with four recovered cases.  The county now has 781 total positive cases, with 565 recovered and ten deaths.  There are currently 206 active COVID-19 cases in Lake County, and 30 residents have ever been hospitalized because of the virus.

Statewide, another 783 new positive coronavirus cases are being reported Monday.  There are 17-thousand-350 active COVID-19 cases in the state now, and 582 people are currently hospitalized.  No new virus-related deaths are being reported Monday.  

Elsewhere in our area, McCook County reports 158 active COVID-19 cases, Kingsbury has 124, and Moody County has 104 cases.  Brookings County has 454 active cases as of Monday, and Miner County has 33.  The state Department of Health has moved Miner County down to moderate community spread, while all other area counties remain listed as having substantial community spread of the virus.
