One Person Dead in Madison House Fire

One person is dead after a fire reported last night at 328 N Harth in Madison. According to Madison Fire Chief Randy Minnaert, firefighters got the call at around 9:36 pm with area firefighters arriving soon after on the scene. While the fire did spread through the house it did not spread to any surrounding structures. Officials are still investigating the cause of the fire. The name of the victim has not been released.
