Madison City Commission meets Monday
The Madison City Commission holds its first meeting in March Monday.
On the agenda for city commissioners is the first reading of a couple of ordinances. Those ordinances include one repealing and replacing Chapter 6 Building Codes, and the other authorizing the establishment of fees. Commissioners will also discuss a change order for Halme, Incorporated regarding the city’s water system improvements-water tower loop line. The commission Monday will also set a bid date for chip sealing for 2022, and review and award the bid for padmount switchgear, transformers, primary cable, and pull boxes. Â
An executive session for consulting with legal counsel about proposed or pending litigation or contractual matters is scheduled for the end of Monday’s meeting. Â
