Madison Central reports three new positive COVID-19 cases in district
The Madison Central School District reported two additional positive COVID-19 cases within the district on Friday and one on Sunday. The positive cases include a student or staff member at Madison Middle School and two at Madison High School. Â
Superintendent Joel Jorgenson said the school district is working with the state Department of Health to determine close contacts. Parents of those considered to be close contacts will be notified by e-mail and a phone call. Â
These three latest cases bring the total number of positive COVID-19 cases within the district to 73 since the first case was identified in September. Â
